Al Alcorn on Steve Jobs’ time at Atari as technician.
I have read about this a number of times in various biographies and articles, but it is just great to hear a personal account of interacting with young Steve J. via audio by no one other than Al Alcorn himself.
Halfway into the the interview, he mentions a hilarious “Steve Jobs in Munich” anecdote, which I can relate to even though more than twenty years have passed since Jobs’ first trip to conservative Bavaria and I am not a vegetarian either.
The interview has been conducted by Podtech.
By the way Gamasutra has a nice write-up of the Ralph Baer and Allan Alcorn session at this year’s GDC. I have posted a couple of Al Acorn quotes from the article that I like and agree with via my friendfeed.
