Last week I watched the first episode of the third season of Germany’s Next Topmodel and I liked it.
Either Heidi Klum or somebody really well connected and persuasive in her team managed to convince a fashion designer to staff his show with the first fifty girls from this season - without any serious training, in the very first episode.
Upon selecting the Top 50 batch of girls, they were packed up, flown to Barcelona in Spain and had to walk their first fashion show ever :)
If it is OK for Cliff Bleszinski to get all excited about pop starlets, can I not enjoy watching model wannabe girls? Yes I can and I will, despite my better half not being home on time for today’s episode, I will expose myself to catwalk madness for the sheer joy of it.
The image shows a part of the audience of said fashion show. May I direct your attention to the facial expression of the lady sitting in the middle of the first row - strikingly reminiscent of a popular expressionist painting by Edvard Munch, don’t you think?
One more hour to go for the second episode to air.
