![It’s Thursday, for the last three weeks and the coming eight or so this translates to shallow-TV-evening-fun-with-Germany’s-Next-Topmodel, including semi-naive surrender to contrived drama [NSFW].Last week’s episode revealed a girl’s past as Penthouse “model”. The following days Germany’s twistedly conservative #1 tabloid chimed in to hammer on the girl with revelations of nude suggestive pictures that she had taken of herself for a youth mag two years ago. Even though I am certain that parts of the audience enjoy this kind of drama, I don’t. For the very same reasons I don’t like tabloids and the likes. I hope that the show does not occupy itself with cheap stunts like this for too long and finds it way back to naive cherry blossom glory.Please ignore the sad truth of (truly-naive || hopeless || luckless || untalented || dumb || overly ambitious || impecunious) young girls and women trying hard to make it in the model business.
