Visiting my parents over the holidays, I could not resist but raid the attic for some of the carefully stored boxes containing parts of my console, videogame and magazine collection.
This particular Easter excursion to Isik Spire yielded my beloved, modded TurboDuo, i.e. accepting Japanese as well as US games.
Unfortunately I cannot take any pictures of it now, since my camera experienced a major meltdown.
The image displays a scan of the HuCard case cover of Detana!! TwinBee. I love the candy-color graphics (e.g. the variations in stage design), the gameplay (especially the bosses) and of course the excellent parallax scrolling (video).
Currently I am alternating between Irem horizontal and Konami vertical shooters.
