Google App Engine is an exciting service. I signed up for the preview release, received an invitation and will start playing with it shortly.
The tech-blogosphere/microblogging-universe seems to go crazy about Google’s latest product announcement. Once more though I can’t help but wonder how fast uninformed discussion and criticism is generated and propagates through at least the comment sections of the tech-blogosphere.
It is often fairly obvious that trolls do not read up on a subject matter before making “strong” statements, but they could at least watch the videos of the Campfire One: Introducing Google App Engine event that have been put up (in easily consumable chunks) on YouTube.
