Kati and I spent the weekend getting her old apartment ready to be handed over to the landlord. Renovating the place involved painting all the rooms and walls white.
We really managed to pay rent for an empty and abandoned apartment for almost eighteen months before finally getting around to doing this. FTL!
On a positive note, renovating was interesting and painting fun. Guess you are more inclined to claim this, when your usual job is “desk work” :)
Was it “blasphemous” to wear my _old_ Sluggy Freelance: The Quatrix T-Shirt while painting? It’s long out of shape (and color) and I thought getting it all speckled with wall paint would make it easier to finally toss it out, but it didn’t. I am keeping it :)
