Korg DS-10 won’t leave me alone, haunts me in my dreams
I have been all excited about Korg’s Kaoss Pads and the Korg DS-10,which among other things includes one(!), for a while now.
A couple of days ago my fellow gamesundso.de friends and I had the chance to lay hands on one of
the nifty gadgets and now I can’t get it out of my head anymore. I
catch myself browsing play-asia.com for the cartridge (I know it’s a flash card, affiliate link) for
the very recently released Japanese version - that is, even though we have been told by a Nintendo rep that the Korg DS-10 will see an official October 2008 Germany release.
I doubt I can wait that long enough though, the only thing keeping me
from ordering the title right away is that this week will be very busy for me. I
guess I should go ahead and be busy producing as soon as next week :D
From what we have seen this week during our hands-on preview, the JP module does not seem to need any translation and
should be usable for any English-speaking person right away. I
secretly hope that literature on this excellent piece gets translated into English.
If you don’t know what this gem of synthesizer software - inbound for
the Nintendo DS - is, I suggest you have a look at the 1UP Show excerpt on my tumblelog and/or the embedded Korg demo-video.
