Dinner with Julia Allison … well, almost

No matter how enjoyable last week in Herford was, I missed having a coffee and reading my latest stack of magazines at my favorite downtown Munich hangout.
Thus I am celebrating my return with a sandwich dinner at the very location and by re-reading Wired’s excellent article on Julia Allison - this time in printed form.
For years I did not feel like picking up the magazine anymore, but their articles as of late (and online presence) drew me back to the pool of semi-regular readers.

Another interesting read - of an admittedly entirely different nature - is the current issue of The Economist. Interesting if only for the helpless, yet lost in denial, leader on Russia’s grasp for more power and the West’s options in handling a bear it shot, left to suffer but didn’t bother to tame.
