Mobile bill meltdown. Got to stop using my German cell phone data plan outside of Germany ;)
Dear EU,
It would be awesome if you’d realize the importance and potential of easy and cheap mobile internet access for your citizens and *regulate*, that is keep carriers from implementing obscure tariffs and charging scam-level prices.
Free markets and unbounded competition regulating in favor of the customer is a naive illusion.

P.S.: The sum is a result of checking and answering email two times a day for ten days and using the locate me functionality on gmaps less than ten times. The device used is an iPhone on an O2 Germany 200MB per month data plan. The bandwidth quota had not been reached.
P.P.S.: Guess it’s time to look into EU-wide alternatives for data roaming - suggestions are welcome.
